LC SOLID FRAGRANCE 3.0

There is a satisfying weight to the vessel, very durable, the clockwise mechanism is intriguing (how is that done?), it is fun to fidget with, very portable and visually attractive.

The fragrance I selected was Shinrin, it is mild, distinct and lasting. A bit spicier of a scent than expected for what it was named after, probably from the Palo Santo. Being someone who works in forests, I expected more of a pine resin odor after Japanese Red Pine (Akamatsu), Hinoki cypress, and Sugi (Cryptomeria japonica) that is associated with Shinrin-yoku. Regardless this remains a pleasing scent, though this leads me to believe Kawa would be more to my personal tastes for the lighter, juniper and cedar scent.

I got Jin as the "safe" purchase and I threw in Iron just because I like tea and Uncle and I think I like Iroh way more. Jin is great, very classic, but Iroh hits me in a way that I'm not sure I've ever smelled from a fragrance. I love it. Gonna have to try some of my other favorite characters.

This last bit is on me, I didn't notice that there was beezwax in the formula and I'm vegan. I'm gonna make an exception because I like my rainbow tin so much... But idk, heads up to other vegans if that would be a dealbreaker.

Oh! And the case opens a little more easily in my bag than my Fulton and Roark tin despite the Lucky Cat tin feeling higher quality. Idk how to explain it. Thankfully, since it's solid, it doesn't spill or anything. Just something I noticed.

The cases and the fragrance are of excellent quality. I love the sound the case makes when it clicks into place, and I love being able to bring a high quality fragrance with me wherever I go. The Yama and Sora fragrances in particular are wonderful with the latter being arguably better-smelling than the fragrance it's based on (Le Labo Santal 33).

I had some issues with getting them delivered (USPS's fault, most likely) and the customer service team was incredibly kind and helpful. I'm so glad I came across this company and plan on being a repeat customer!
